Mental health epidemiology continues to be a field with considerable growth and development. The history of biennial meetings represents one of the largest gatherings of mental health epidemiologists. They provide an excellent forum for frank discussions about the new directions in and issues related to our profession, particularly for young researchers, teachers, and other practitioners of our discipline.

The section meeting is planned in collaboration with the EPA Section Cultural Psychiatry. After the section meeting, an optional day trip the 20th of June with fjords and mountains will be organized.

June 16-19 (2010) in Bergen, Norway. The conference will be held at SAS Radisson Hotel Norge.
